Once or twice a year those of us with kids turn the minivans into a gigantihugous monster for long family camping trips or visit relatives (both require extensive survival gear). Our vans stay uncrowded—the rear cargo area and the box have everything we need in it, and the passengers are comfortable without pillows and sleeping bags stuffed into every nook and cranny. And we all know comfortable kids mean more comfortable adults.
Thule has been making luggage boxes forever. Europeans figured out long ago that small works fine, except when they needed a little extra room. And that's where luggage boxes were born.
